What we build

Custom Where It Matters. Integrated Everywhere Else.

We start with the operational problem, use proven platforms where they fit, and write custom software for the gaps that create real business value.

Custom Business Applications

Purpose-built web applications and internal tools shaped around the way your team actually works.

Systems & API Integration

Connect finance, operations, CRM, ERP, cloud, and vendor platforms without creating another data silo.

Workflow Automation

Replace repetitive handoffs, spreadsheet stitching, and manual status checks with controlled workflows.

Data Migration & Reconciliation

Move, normalize, validate, and reconcile operational data with traceable rules and acceptance criteria.

AI-Enabled Software

Add governed AI agents, document processing, and retrieval workflows to systems your team already uses.

Legacy Modernization

Stabilize valuable legacy software, expose clean interfaces, and replace high-risk components in controlled stages.

Relevant experience

Engineering Context Matters.

Chadsel LLC brings software engineering, infrastructure, and operator experience into the same room. That makes integration decisions practical: the code must fit the workflow, the controls, and the team that will own it.

01

Financial Operations

Front, middle, and back office integration

Hands-on hedge fund technology experience across portfolio management, compliance, risk, reporting, reconciliation, prime brokerage, and market data workflows.

02

Engineering Operations

Product lifecycle and ERP integration

Integration experience spanning Siemens Teamcenter, NX, Capital, and StarCCM with ERP and engineering workflows in a Series A environment.

03

Software Engineering

Production systems before consulting

Early-career senior software engineering work included wireless messaging that connected handsets to IM services and a Sprint premium-SMS billing system.

Where we fit

A Focused Build, Not an Open-Ended Rewrite

The best projects have a measurable operational result, named system owners, and boundaries both sides can test.

Good fit

Build or automate a defined workflow

  • A critical process lives across spreadsheets, email, and disconnected systems
  • An existing platform needs a controlled API or data integration
  • A finance or operations workflow needs validation, reconciliation, and auditability
  • A legacy application needs staged modernization without a risky big-bang replacement

Every proposal defines

What success means before code ships

  • Users, workflows, source systems, interfaces, and data ownership
  • Security boundaries, environments, access, logging, and retention requirements
  • Milestones, demonstrations, acceptance criteria, and change-control rules
  • Documentation, knowledge transfer, deployment, and post-launch support

Delivery process

From Workflow to Working System

Four stages keep business requirements, technical decisions, and operational ownership aligned.

Map the Workflow

We document users, decisions, data sources, exceptions, and the operational result the software must produce.

Define the Contract

Architecture, interfaces, security boundaries, milestones, acceptance criteria, and ownership are written before build work starts.

Build & Integrate

Delivery happens in reviewable increments, with integration tests against the systems and data that matter in production.

Validate & Handoff

We test failure paths, document operations, transfer knowledge, and define the support plan before the project closes.

New client offer

Start with the workflow, not a technology shopping list.

Tell us what your team does today, where the handoffs fail, and what a successful outcome must look like. We will turn that into a scoped architecture and delivery plan.

Common Questions

What businesses ask before commissioning custom software.

Do you build software from scratch or integrate existing platforms?

Both, but we do not recommend a custom build when a well-supported platform already solves the problem. A typical engagement combines an existing system with targeted APIs, workflow automation, data migration, and a purpose-built interface for the gaps that matter to your operation.

Can you integrate hedge fund middle- and back-office systems?

Yes. Our experience includes portfolio and order management, compliance monitoring, risk and reporting workflows, market data, prime broker connectivity, and reconciliation across front, middle, and back office operations. Each engagement is scoped around the specific vendors, interfaces, and data controls involved.

Can you work with our internal engineering or operations team?

Yes. We can own a defined workstream, lead the architecture and integration plan, or work alongside an internal team. Responsibilities, repositories, environments, review gates, and handoff requirements are documented at the start.

Which technologies do you use?

The stack follows the system you need to operate and maintain. Chadsel LLC works across web applications, APIs, data pipelines, Azure and AWS services, Microsoft platforms, AI model APIs, and enterprise integrations. The proposal states the selected stack and why it fits.

How is a custom software project priced?

After discovery, we provide a written scope with milestones, assumptions, exclusions, acceptance criteria, and either a fixed project price or a stated time-and-materials rate. Material scope changes require a documented change order rather than being hidden in the build.
