Common Questions

What Long Beach businesses ask before signing.

What does managed IT include?

Coverage depends on the selected plan and written service schedule. Typical scope includes business-hours remote help desk for covered users and issues, proactive monitoring, patch management, endpoint security, Microsoft 365 administration, backup verification, and periodic IT reviews. On-site visits, travel, after-hours support, projects, and restore tests are included only when listed in the proposal or service schedule.

How quickly can you respond on-site in Long Beach?

Critical issues are triaged against the response targets in your service schedule. On-site timing depends on severity, location, technician availability, and plan coverage; same-day dispatch is not included in every plan. Remote response targets are also documented by priority in the agreement.

Do you support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace?

Yes. We manage both platforms — licensing, user provisioning, security hardening, email filtering, Teams/Meet setup, and SharePoint/Drive administration. Most of our SMB clients run Microsoft 365. We also support hybrid environments where some users are on Google Workspace. Migration between platforms is available as a project engagement.

What size businesses are the best fit?

Our managed IT plans work best for businesses with 5 to 75 employees in the Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Orange County area. Below 5 users, break-fix or a lighter support plan is often more cost-effective. Above 75 users, we still serve clients but typically scope engagements differently. Industry is less important than structure — we work with professional services firms, retail, logistics, healthcare-adjacent, and any business that depends on technology to operate.

What is the difference between break-fix and managed IT?

Break-fix means you call for help when something breaks and pay by the hour. Managed IT uses a flat monthly rate for a defined set of covered users, systems, support hours, and issue types. Projects, after-hours work, travel, hardware, and other exclusions remain separately scoped. The value is proactive ownership and predictable boundaries, not an undefined promise of unlimited labor.

What cybersecurity is included in managed IT?

Secure and Complete plans can include EDR, email filtering, backup monitoring, patch management, security awareness, credential exposure monitoring, and privileged access controls. Backup restore tests and their frequency are stated in the proposal or service schedule; monitoring a backup is not represented as proof that every workload has been restored successfully.
