Common Questions

What Long Beach businesses ask before signing.

What does managed IT include?
A full managed IT plan covers: unlimited remote help desk during business hours, proactive monitoring of all endpoints and servers, patch management on a monthly cycle, endpoint detection and response (EDR) security, Microsoft 365 administration, backup verification, and quarterly IT reviews. On-site support for hardware, cabling, and in-person troubleshooting is included for Long Beach and South Bay clients — no extra travel charges.
How quickly can you respond on-site in Long Beach?
For issues that require in-person support, we target same-day response for Long Beach, Torrance, Carson, Lakewood, and the surrounding South Bay. Remote support for most issues begins within the hour during business hours. We do not operate a tiered support queue — you reach a real technician who knows your environment.
Do you support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace?
Yes. We manage both platforms — licensing, user provisioning, security hardening, email filtering, Teams/Meet setup, and SharePoint/Drive administration. Most of our SMB clients run Microsoft 365. We also support hybrid environments where some users are on Google Workspace. Migration between platforms is available as a project engagement.
What size businesses are the best fit?
Our managed IT plans work best for businesses with 5 to 75 employees in the Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Orange County area. Below 5 users, break-fix or a lighter support plan is often more cost-effective. Above 75 users, we still serve clients but typically scope engagements differently. Industry is less important than structure — we work with professional services firms, retail, logistics, healthcare-adjacent, and any business that depends on technology to operate.
What is the difference between break-fix and managed IT?
Break-fix means you call for help when something breaks and pay by the hour. Managed IT means a flat monthly rate covers proactive monitoring, maintenance, and unlimited support. Break-fix looks cheaper upfront but costs more over 12 months in most cases — because problems go undetected until they become expensive, and reactive support hours add up. Managed IT also means someone is watching your systems before you know there is a problem.
What cybersecurity is included in managed IT?
Standard plans include EDR (endpoint detection and response) on all covered devices, email filtering to block phishing and malicious attachments, automated backup with offsite copy and monthly restore testing, and security patch management. Advanced plans add KnowBe4 employee security awareness training, dark web monitoring for leaked credentials, and privileged access management. We do not sell cybersecurity theater — every control we deploy is one we have used in regulated environments.
